Today our thoughts are with all those affected by yesterday’s horrific events at the Boston Marathon. There are so many among us who have connections with runners, spectators, and friends and relatives who live and work in the Boston area.
For many of our students, Boston is a familiar place and one where they have had personal experiences. Many have been to a Red Sox game, the children’s museum, or have family members working in the city. Indeed, our third graders just recently experienced a wonderful trip to the Science Museum.
